We all know that water is good for us, but often the reasons are a little fuzzy. And even if we know why we should drink water, it’s not a habit that many people form. So here are 9 powerful reasons to drink water with tips on how to form the water habit.

Good reminder here for all to drink plenty of water for healthy you! First and ninth on the list are weight loss, and better exercise, are my favorites. It keeps us filled, preventing excessive eating, thus weight loss. And of course, before,during and after exercise, water is essential to keep us hydrated and to prevent exhaustion.

    Another tip - when playing sport (like tennis or soccer) bring an entire 2L bottle filled with water. No use relying on a small water bottle - it will not be enough to keep you hydrated.

    Also a high water intake decreases the risk of kidney stones!

    Well I’m guilty of not drinking too much water. I only drink a lot during workout. But outside the gym, I rarely drink water. :( Guess I have to make it a habit now. Thanks! (Although I’m looking for the 9 reasons you mentioned.. I only saw 2: weight loss and better exercise) :D
