Have you bought home an appliance lately? Then, you should know all about the warranty card given by your manufacturer. Some buyers have been the worst sufferer as the warranty period a manufacturer offer is no longer available when they need it mostly. As a result, either they replace it with a new one or they have to spend money on repairing. However let’s talk about things you don’t know about a warranty of a manufacturer.

No value will be given if you’ve lost the purchasing cash memo: Before you go to the shop in demand of warranty, make sure that you have that purchasing cash memo which has been given to you at the time of buying. Without that cash memo, you can’t do anything and you will not be able to use the warranty. The cash memo is important because it is the proof of your purchase from that shop and without this receipt it will be quite tenacious to get payment from the manufacturer for the service he will provide. You should know that most of the appliance companies even don’t touch your appliance before seeing the cash memo. However, if you are facing issues with your appliance and are not able to get service from your manufacturer, you should call your nearest appliance repairs.

The terms and conditions of the warranty: Perhaps, you have seen the term written on the warranty card, “limited warranty”. Now, you may think what limited warranty means? Limited warranty is nothing but imposing some rules on customer for getting warranty. ‘If a machine is damaged for the careless use of a customer, then the company will not be responsible to repair it’, says limited warranty. However here are given some situations, which most of the companies deal with.

A breakage in the machine due to abeyance, wrong installation and lack of maintenance.

If you are using the machine for both commercial and personal use.

Depreciation due to shifting or moving the machine, such as scratches, dents, chips or other types of damages. If you find the damage on that very installation day, then without wasting time you should call the manufacturer or else they will not bother for the damage latter. However, you don’t have to be worried with your bosch dishwasher or other branded appliance issues if they are not solved by the companies. You can call a bosch dishwasher service to repair your bosch appliance.

Some appliances are given long years of warranty: Although most of the appliances are given only one year warranty, some manufacturers provide long years of warranty for their machines. For example, manufacturers like, KitchenAid, offers long six years of warranty on refrigerator compressor, evaporator and many more.
